This Beckenham project brought together two complementary flooring choices to create a welcoming entrance and staircase. Our customer selected Amtico Decor Star Edison for the downstairs hallway, alongside Associated Weavers Centurion carpet for the stairs and landing.
The Amtico Decor Star Edison design features an intricate geometric pattern in warm terracotta, cream and soft neutral tones. Inspired by traditional Victorian tiles, the pattern adds real character to the hallway while offering the durability and easy maintenance of luxury vinyl flooring. A carefully coordinated border frames the design, following the hallway's shape and creating a neat finish around the staircase.
For the stairs and landing, Associated Weavers Centurion carpet was chosen to provide a softer contrast to the decorative floor below. Its neutral colour complements the warm tones of the Amtico and the painted woodwork, bringing the different areas together without competing with the patterned hallway.
To create a characterful entrance that complemented the traditional features of the Beckenham home, combining a decorative hallway floor with soft, comfortable carpeting on the stairs and landing.
The four-day project involved preparing the downstairs hallway floor before installing the Amtico Decor Star Edison design. Particular attention was given to the geometric pattern and decorative border, ensuring the layout followed the hallway and fitted neatly around the staircase and adjoining walls.
Associated Weavers Centurion carpet was also fitted to the stairs and landing, completing the coordinated flooring installation.
